The Israeli army announced Monday that it had killed four senior Iranian intelligence officials, including the head of the Revolutionary Guards' (IRGC) intelligence, Mohammad Kazemi. The official Iranian news agency had announced Kazemi's death the day before, following an Israeli strike on Tehran.

In a post on its X account, the Israeli army reported targeting a structure in Tehran on Sunday that housed Mohammad Kazemi, killing him and three other senior officials: his deputy Mohammad Hassan Mohaqiq, the head of the al-Quds Force intelligence Mohsen Bakri, and the latter's deputy, Abu al-Fadl Nikouei.

On June 13, Israel launched an attack on the Islamic Republic, and the two countries have been exchanging missile strikes daily since.
