Iran accused Israel on Monday of targeting a hospital in the west of the country, denouncing a "war crime."
"The Farabi Hospital, located in the city of Kermanshah in western Iran, was targeted by the aggressive attacks of the Israeli regime," said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei. "Attacking hospitals, in addition to assaults on residential areas, constitutes a blatant violation of international law and a war crime," he added.
Iranian media had previously reported an Israeli attack targeting a nearby workshop that caused significant damage to the hospital.
