BEIRUT — Ukraine announced Sunday it had received a new batch of 1,200 bodies from Russia, as part of a swap agreement reached between the belligerents in Istanbul earlier this month.
"1,200 additional bodies, which according to the Russian side belong to Ukrainian citizens, including military personnel, have been returned to Ukraine," wrote the Ukrainian coordination center for prisoners of war on social media.
