MEA resumes its flights to Istanbul

The national airline Middle East Airlines (MEA) announced the resumption of its flights between Beirut and Istanbul on Saturday, June 14, 2025, following the reopening of Lebanese airspace to civilian traffic. The following flights are concerned:

- ME263 departing Istanbul at 6:00 p.m., heading to Beirut.

- ME264 departing Beirut at 8:55 p.m., heading to Istanbul.

The times are given in local time for each city.

Lebanese airspace and Beirut airport were closed for several hours following the unprecedented escalation between Israel and Iran, triggered by an initial attack by the Israeli army. The airport reopened at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and does not anticipate any new closures, except in the event of exceptional circumstances, according to the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rassamny.
