The Israeli army announced on Saturday that its fighter jets were ready to resume strikes on targets in Tehran, after claiming to have hit air defense systems in the region of the Iranian capital overnight.
’’The routes to Iran have been opened,’’ said the Chief of Staff and the head of the Israeli Air Force in a statement. The army ’’is proceeding according to its operational plans, and the [Israeli Air Force] fighter jets are ready to strike targets in Tehran again,’’ the statement added.
