Israeli army tries to 'intercept' a hundred drones launched by Iran

BEIRUT — Israeli forces are attempting to "intercept" a hundred drones launched by Iran in response to Israel's attack overnight on its territory, the Israeli army spokesperson said Friday morning.

"Iran has launched about 100 drones towards Israeli territory which we are striving to intercept," said Brig. Gen. Effi Defrin in a televised statement at around 08:00 (05:00 GMT).
