Mazen Allouche, Director of Local and International Relations at the Syrian Authority for Land and Maritime Ports, denied on Saturday that there had been any update to visa fees for entry into Syria.
“Any changes to visa policies or fees are officially announced exclusively by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” he stated on the platform X.
Some media reports had claimed that the Syrian Ministry of Interior announced a general update of visa fees for entry into Syria, with the fees varying depending on nationality and based on diplomatic relations and bilateral agreements.
