The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced on Friday the death of 38 people in Israeli strikes or gunfire across the small Palestinian territory, where residents are marking the first day of the Muslim holiday of Sacrifice (Eid al-Adha).
In total, Civil Defense teams recorded 38 people killed, including 11 in a strike on Jabalia, a city in the north of the Gaza Strip, said Mohammed Al-Moughayir, one of the officials of this emergency response organization, to AFP.
