BEIRUT — Two unknown individuals opened fire Thursday on a man named N., inside his home in the al-Tell neighborhood of Tripoli, hitting him with several gunshots, before fleeing to an unknown destination, reports our correspondent.
The victim was assisted by the Lebanese Red Cross and transported to the Islamic Hospital in the city for treatment. His condition was described as "critical," according to our correspondent.
The reasons for this armed assault are still unknown. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances and identify the assailants.
