Russia proposed to Ukraine on Monday, during talks in Istanbul, a partial cease-fire of "2-3 days" on certain sectors of the front, announced the Russian chief negotiator, while Kiev continues to insist on a complete and unconditional truce.
"We made a fairly general proposal. A concrete cease-fire for two or three days in certain areas of the front," said Vladimir Medinski during a press conference following the discussions.
