Spring 2025: Hottest on record for UK

The United Kingdom has experienced its hottest spring since records began in 1884, the Met Office meteorological agency announced Monday, with this season breaking the record set last spring.

It is "also the driest spring in more than 50 years" in the country, with only 128.2 millimeters of rain between early March and late May, making it the sixth driest on record.
