Lebanon’s State Security said Saturday that a patrol from its Saida office arrested a Syrian national, identified as M. Ch., on Thursday for allegedly distributing candy and sweets laced with narcotic pills at a café in the city.
Authorities added that “legal measures have been taken against him.”
Security forces across Lebanon have been stepping up efforts to combat crime nationwide.
