Prime Minister Nawaf Salam issued a circular on Friday decreeing the closure of administrations, public institutions and municipalities for Eid al-Adha.
"On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, all public administrations, public institutions and municipalities will be closed on Friday, June 6, and Monday, June 9, 2025. Likewise, all public institutions subject to a specific schedule and operating on Saturday will be closed on Saturday, June 7, 2025," the circular stated.
Eid al-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice, is a major Muslim celebration marking the end of the pilgrimage to Mecca, one of the five pillars of Islam.
