The Lebanese are certainly gaining recognition in Doha’s art scene. After artist Najla al-Zein's stone bench-sculpture series Us, Her, Him was permanently installed in the heart of the museum district, it is now the turn of Lebanese design duo Jo and Amanda Bou Abboud — co-founders of Boo Design Studio — to make a lasting impression on the Qatari capital with a new public art installation.Their piece, Keys to Memories, incorporates 250,000 keychains — specifically, the wooden keychains used during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in the temporary “Fan Village” accommodations built to address the shortage of affordable hotel rooms.
