Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated Thursday that "fundamental disagreements" remain with the United States, on the eve of a new round of nuclear talks in Rome under Omani mediation.

"There are still fundamental disagreements between us," Araghchi said on state television, warning that if the United States wants to prevent Iran from enriching uranium "there will be no agreement."
