Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez called on Saturday to "pressure Israel to stop the massacre in Gaza," specifying that Spain will present a draft resolution to the U.N. for the International Court of Justice to "pronounce on Israel's compliance with its international obligations."

"We must intensify our pressure on Israel to stop the massacre in Gaza, particularly through the means offered by international law," said the Spanish head of government during his speech at an Arab League summit in Baghdad, considering that the "unacceptable number" of victims in the Palestinian territory violated the "principle of humanity."
