Around 150,000 people payed respects to pope's coffin in Rome

Around 150,000 people gathered Saturday in the streets of Rome, along the route followed by the white popemobile carrying Pope Francis' coffin to the Basilica of St. Mary Major, where he was to be buried, the Vatican stated.

A huge crowd of the faithful also attended the morning funeral mass of the Argentine Jesuit at St. Peter's Square in the Vatican, which was marked by several rounds of applause and cheers.
