Gaza hospitals have received 56 Palestinians killed and 108 injured in the last 24 hours, the Gaza Health Ministry said Saturday.
Among these victims, at least 13 people were killed in an Israeli strike targeting a house in the Sabra neighborhood, in southern Gaza City, medical sources told Al Jazeera.
Additionally, local correspondents of the channel report that at least three people were killed in an Israeli raid targeting displacement tents in the al-Mawassi humanitarian area, west of Khan Younis city, with an additional three injured.
Furthermore, six fishermen were injured by Israeli naval fire targeting a boat off the town of Zawaida, in the center of the enclave.
Previously, Gaza authorities announced that 84 people were killed and 168 injured as a result of Israeli raids conducted across the Gaza Strip during the day.
The official number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of the Israeli offensive now stands at 51,495 dead and 117,524 injured since Oct. 7, 2023. Among them, more than 2,000 have been killed since Israel resumed its bombings on March 18, unilaterally breaking the cease-fire agreement reached in January with Hamas.
