The Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, met on Wednesday with several Lebanese ministers, expressing his country's willingness to help Lebanon. These meetings come two months after the formation of the new Lebanese government of Nawaf Salam, as Hezbollah, Iran's ally in Lebanon, emerges weakened from a war with Israel.

During his meeting with Lebanese Defense Minister Michel Menassa, Amani emphasized "Iran's full readiness to provide the necessary assistance at any time, particularly in areas that serve Lebanon's supreme national interests and enhance its stability and security," according to statements reported by the National News Agency (NNA).

Labor Minister Mohammad Haidar discussed with the Iranian ambassador job opportunities in Lebanon, cooperation between the two countries, as well as the resumption of Iranian flights to Lebanon. The Lebanese minister informed the ambassador that this issue fell under the jurisdiction of Parliament.

The Iranian ambassador, for his part, highlighted "the importance of exchanging experiences, especially in the field of vocational and craft training between Lebanon and Iran."

Amani was also received by Health Minister Rakan Nassereddine.
