London 'does not support' the extension of Israel's military operations in Gaza

The United Kingdom 'does not support' the extension of Israel's military operations in Gaza, British Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs Hamish Falconer announced Wednesday, expressing 'deep concern' over the resumption of hostilities.

'The UK does not support the extension of Israel's military operations,' Falconer said. 'The continuation of fighting and bloodshed is in no one's interest. All parties, including Israel, must respect international humanitarian law.'
