A Hamas official on Monday called on "anyone who can bear arms" to fight anywhere against the plan of U.S. President Donald Trump to forcibly relocate Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and militarily take control of the enclave.

"In the face of this diabolical plan, which combines massacres and famine, anyone capable of bearing arms anywhere in the world must take action," said Sami Abu Zuhri in a statement. "Do not keep an explosive, a bullet, a knife, or a stone. Let everyone break their silence," he added.
