Rue des Banques, in downtown Beirut, will be closed to traffic Monday morning, and detours will occur in the area, due to a meeting of the joint parliamentary committees scheduled for 11 a.m. under the chairmanship of Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

Starting at 7 a.m. and throughout the session, rue des Banques will be closed to traffic and cleared of all cars, the Internal Security Forces (ISF) announced in a statement released Sunday, noting that "some temporary detours will be implemented around the area."

The committees on Finance and Budget, Administration and Justice, National Defense, Interior and Municipalities, Public Health, Justice and Social Affairs, Economy, Trade, Industry, Planning and Information Technology are expected to participate in this meeting, which will be dedicated to examining several texts.
