A wave of unrest from South to North: Could these incidents be connected?

As if Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon and the exchange of fire along the Syrian border were not enough, the night from Monday to Tuesday was shaken by clashes in northern Lebanon between the Beddawi refugee camp and the Wadi Nahle area. Even if each of these areas has its unique dynamics, many Lebanese were quick to question whether these nearly simultaneous incidents might be connected.Admittedly, south of the Litani River, there are no direct confrontations, but rather near-continuous Israeli strikes — sometimes targeting villages, other times focusing on individuals suspected by the Israelis of being Hezbollah officials. Ignoring the criticism, Israel continues to violate the cease-fire agreement, even as the Lebanese Army increases its presence on the ground and regularly destroys Hezbollah arms depots.
