An Israeli drone carried out a strike on a vehicle in Yohmor al-Shaqif, in the Nabatieh district, according to information from our correspondent, killing two people and injuring several others. The drone targeted a motorcycle passing in front of a supermarket in the center of the village, while pedestrians walked nearby, some of whom were slightly injured in the strike. A truck and the supermarket near the target caught fire.

The Israeli army claimed that it conducted airstrikes on two members of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. "A short while ago, two Hezbollah terrorists serving as observation agents and directing terrorist activities were struck by the Israeli army in the Yohmor region, in southern Lebanon," said the statement released following another army announcement in which it claimed to have identified a shot fired from Lebanon at Israel.

According to L'Orient Today's count, at least 102 people have been killed in Lebanon by Israel since the cease-fire came into effect on Nov. 27, 2024, ending 13 months of clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah. Last Sunday, at least four people were killed in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon.
