The Israeli army announced Thursday that it carried out a strike on a Hezbollah site in the Bekaa region, in eastern Lebanon, where a truce has been in effect since Nov. 27.

"Earlier [Thursday], the army carried out a strike against a building on a site used by Hezbollah to manufacture and store strategic weapons in the Bekaa region," the Israeli army said in a statement, specifying that it would continue to "operate to eliminate any threat against Israel."
