BEIRUT — Nicolas Mansour, the first investigating judge at the Mount Lebanon Court of Appeal, issued two arrest warrants Monday for the mother and a friend of J.C., who is accused of fatally injuring Khalil Khalil during a dispute over the right of way in Faraya, Kesrouan, on the night of Feb. 1-2.J.C. allegedly called his friend, R.C., to help chase Khalil after the altercation.The Mount Lebanon public prosecutor's office charged J.C.'s mother and friend, both in custody, with allegedly helping him flee after the crime. They are accused of acting alongside R.C., the suspected instigator.
