Two young men attempted to kidnap two children in the town of Al-Fardis, Hasbaya district, on Saturday afternoon, the state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported citing its correspondent in the region.
According to NNA, the children were returning home when a dark-tinted car intercepted them. Two young men exited the vehicle and tried to seize them.
The children managed to escape and took refuge in a nearby house. The car then fled, and the children's father called on the security forces to identify the perpetrators, NNA added.
