Ogero's helpline 1515 is currently out of service due to a malfunction, according to a statement from the public telecom operator, as Lebanon is experiencing a cold wave accompanied by snow at low altitudes. “The toll-free number 1515 is currently unavailable due to a malfunction. Our Ogero teams are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible,” the company announced Monday morning on X.
In the meantime, subscribers are encouraged “to contact Ogero services via its social media platforms, by email at thepeople@ogero.gov.lb, or to report malfunctions via the MyOgero app.”
Numerous outages have occurred in recent months at Ogero's exchanges in Lebanon and the telephone network, in the context of warfare since Oct. 8, 2023, between Israel and Hezbollah and continued severe rationing of public electricity.
