BEIRUT — Since the deadline for implementing the cease-fire agreement between Lebanon and Israel expired on Feb. 18, the Israeli army still occupies seven points in southern Lebanon and has conducted air strikes in various parts of the country, killing at least one person since.On Feb. 17, Israeli army spokesperson Nadav Shoshani announced that Israeli soldiers would stay beyond the deadline at five strategic positions along the Lebanese side of the Blue Line. These locations were chosen for their vantage points or proximity to towns in northern Israel.
