One killed by Israeli strike on car in Aita al-Shaab

A man was killed Wednesday in an Israeli drone strike on a car in Aita al-Shaab, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health and information from our correspondent in the South.

The strike, carried out the day after the cease-fire agreement between Lebanon and Israel had expired, is Youssef Mohammad Srour, son of the town's president of the municipality, according to our correspondent. His wife was injured in the raid.

This strike occurred after episodes of gunfire from Israel in various parts of Lebanon, including the banks of the Wazzani River in the Marjayoun district, injured two men, according to the Ministry of Health. One of the injured has been identified as Assaad Abdallah. Shots were also fired at a Lebanese Army post, though no injuries were reported.

Israeli drones are also flying over all of south Lebanon, reaching areas in Nabatieh and Saida.
