Gasoline, diesel, and fuel oil prices dropped again on Wednesday in Lebanon following several consecutive increases, while the price of a gas cylinder rose. This new price list, published by the Ministry of Energy and Water, was released a day late due to the process of changing ministers following the formation of the Salam government, with Joe Saddi replacing Walid Fayyad.
Here are the new rates:
20 liters of 95-octane gasoline: LL 1,485,000 (-LL 4,000)
20 liters of 98-octane gasoline: LL 1,525,000 (-LL 4,000)
20 liters of diesel (for vehicles): LL 1,382,000 (-LL 11,000)
Domestic gas cylinder: LL 1,109,000 (+LL 7,000)
Kiloliter of fuel oil (used for powering private generators): $710.22, a decrease of $5.95 compared to the last schedule on Tuesday.
