BEIRUT — Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun met with UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini on Thursday and discussed with him the work of the organization and the difficulties it faced, according to the state-run National News Agency (NNA).

On Wednesday, Lazzarini met with caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati at his office where they "discussed the situation of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and the work of the agency, in addition to the challenges facing its work in the occupied Palestinian territories," NNA reported.
