Nearly 6,000 people have been evacuated and more than 200 tremors recorded in the past 48 hours. Since Sunday morning, seismic activity near the Greek island of Santorini — a popular tourist destination — has raised concerns as far as Lebanon, where the memory of the devastating Feb. 6, 2023 earthquake, which claimed nearly 60,000 lives in Turkey and Syria, remains fresh.This has prompted numerous social media users to question the potential impact of the seismic activity in the Aegean Sea. "Could it affect Lebanon? ...
