Caretaker Education Minister Abbas Halabi announced on Tuesday the closure of schools, technical, university and higher education institutions, as well as kindergartens, on Monday, Feb. 10, for the feast of Saint Maron (Mar Maroun), patron of the Maronite community, and on Friday, Feb. 14, for the commemoration of the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri and his companions.
