Old military projectiles were found in the Mina area of Tripoli, among a pile of scrap metal dumped at the roadside, according to information from our correspondent in North Lebanon. The Lebanese Army, army intelligence, and the Internal Security Forces went to the scene and decided to explode these munitions on the spot, after deeming it too difficult to transport them.

The shells were located on a street near the Quality Inn hotel. Traffic was cut off in the area until the end of the operation.
