Israel is set to release 200 Palestinians held in its prisons on Saturday in exchange for four female soldiers taken hostage by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023, as part of the truce agreement, Palestinian sources told AFP.
The prisoner list includes 120 individuals serving life sentences, with 70 of them expected to be exiled outside the Palestinian Territories. Some will be transferred to Gaza, while others will be sent to the occupied West Bank, according to one of the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter.
