On a rainy night in late December, a warm light was emanating from a palace in Beirut, attracting a crowd of people in search of an emotional revelation. Ahmad Amer spread, with his hands and sometimes long telescopic brushes, the testaments of his reveries on the walls and the large marble floor of the old Bustros house, which now houses the Art Affair space.The fashion designer, who comes from a background in illustration, has always relied on clothing as a vessel for his messages to the world, a larger-than-life character at the crossroads of live art and the manifesto.
