Explosions were heard over Jerusalem on Saturday morning after sirens sounded in the city and central Israel, according to AFP journalists. The Israeli army reported that the explosions were in response to a projectile launched from Yemen.
The explosions occurred around 10:20 a.m. local time (8:20 a.m. GMT), shortly after alert sirens were triggered, the army added.
