The Gaza Health Ministry announced Sunday that 88 Palestinians had been killed in the last 24 hours in the Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll in the Palestinian territory to 45,805 since the start of the war.
In a statement, the ministry added that 109,064 people have also been injured in Gaza since the war began, which was triggered by an unprecedented Hamas attack on Israeli soil on Oct. 7, 2023. In response, Israel launched a devastating military campaign in the besieged Palestinian territory.
