Hezbollah MPs held an extraordinary session on Monday to discuss the issue of displaced people in Iraq following the war that broke out between the party and Israel.
In a statement, Hezbollah's parliamentary group said it had discussed the measures to be taken with the Iraqi government and relevant ministries and departments on the one hand, and the Lebanese government and Middle East Airlines on the other.
He also announced that he had decided to form a committee to follow up with Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati ... to instruct the relevant agencies, including the High Relief Committee, to "find appropriate solutions and address the issue immediately."
According to the Health Ministry, at least 4,047 people have been killed and 16,593 injured in Lebanon since Oct. 8, 2023, as a result of Israeli attacks on Lebanon. More than two million people have been displaced.
