At least seven Palestinians were killed and 12 injured after an Israeli strike hit a school sheltering displaced people in Gaza, Gaza City's civil emergency service reported Saturday, according to Reuters.
Earlier on Saturday, the Israeli military stated it had targeted Hamas militants operating within the premises of a school in Gaza City, claiming measures were taken to minimize civilian harm. Among the casualties were a woman and her baby, according to medical sources.
