Israel carried out several strikes in southern Lebanon on Saturday, more than a week after the cease-fire with Hezbollah came into effect on Nov. 27. According to information from our correspondent in the region Mountasser Abdallah, at least five people were killed on Saturday.
The attacks took place after a Cabinet meeting at the Benedict Barakat barracks in Sour in the morning, which approved the plan to redeploy the army in southern Lebanon presented by its Commander-in-Chief, General Joseph Aoun, and the region's military commander.
