The price of gasoline and diesel in Lebanon fell on Tuesday, according to the latest price list from the Energy and Water Ministry, less than three weeks before the new standards set by Libnor and approved by Cabinet in September come into force.
The price of a cylinder of domestic gas has dropped by around $2.5.
Here are the new rates:
20 liters of 95-octane gasoline: LBP 1,409,000 (LBP 7,000 less than last Tuesday).
20 liters of 98-octane gasoline: LBP 1,449,000 (down LBP 7,000)
20 liters of diesel (for vehicles): LBP 1,339,000 (down LBP 8,000)
Domestic gas cylinder: LBP 1,019,000 (down LBP 23,000)
Kiloliter of fuel oil (used to power private electric generators): $686.44 (down $1.01)
