BEIRUT — Caretaker Minister of Public Works Ali Hamieh said on X that the ministry "has completed the restoration of the Masnaa border crossing road, and it is now fully operational."
The Masnaa border crossing, which connects Lebanon and Syria, was targeted by Israeli strikes in early October during the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel that escalated on Sept. 23.
In northern Lebanon, the Arida crossing into Syria was also restored on Saturday after being damaged by Israeli strikes during the escalation, our correspondent in the north reported.
On Nov. 27, a ceasefire agreement was signed by Israel, Lebanon and several mediating countries, including the United States.
