Two Turkish nationals were arrested at sea on Saturday by the Lebanese Army's navy in Arida, northern Lebanon, off the coast of Tripoli, reports our correspondent Michel Hallak.

The two men, A.A. and M.T., who had illegally entered Lebanese territorial waters aboard a vessel coming from Syrian waters, were intercepted by a military patrol and handed over to the competent authorities for investigation.

Lebanese security forces often arrest illegal migrants, primarily Lebanese or Syrians, attempting to flee to Europe.
