Israeli army killed 55 people in Lebanon on Monday

BEIRUT — Israeli strikes on Lebanon killed 55 people on Monday and injured at least 160 others, according to the latest figures from the Ministry of Health.

Thirty people were killed in the South Lebanon governorate, ten in the Nabatieh governorate, 12 in the Bekaa, two in the Baalbeck-Hermel and one in Mount Lebanon, which includes the southern suburbs of Beirut, the ministry announced.

This brings the total number of victims since Oct. 8, 2023, to 3,823, including 717 women, 2,632 men and 243 children. A total of 222 Lebanese health workers have been killed.

The total number of injured is at least 15,859.
