Lebanon's Health Ministry reported that Israeli air strikes on the Bekaa Valley in the east of the country had claimed 40 lives, with official media reporting the deaths of four members of the same family in one village.
Strikes by the “Israeli enemy” on five areas in the Baalbeck region claimed the lives of 40 people, the Ministry said in separate statements. The official National News Agency reported that a strike on the village of Makneh killed at least four members of the same family.
