The American envoy Amos Hochstein, who is trying to achieve a cease-fire between Hezbollah and Israel, announced on Wednesday after talks in Beirut that he would travel to Israel the same day.
“We have made further progress ... I will be going to Israel in a few hours to try to conclude this if possible,” said Amos Hochstein after a meeting with Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, who is liaising with Hezbollah.
