The Health Ministry in Gaza has announced a new death toll of 43,985 in the Palestinian territory since the start of the war with Israel over a year ago.
At least 13 people have been killed in the last 24 hours, it said in a statement, adding that 104,092 people had been wounded in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war, triggered by an unprecedented Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.
