The state-run National News Agency reported that six rescuers were killed in Sunday's Israeli strike targeting the Islamic Health Authority center in Houmin al-Tahta (Nabatieh). Their names are Moustapha Hanawi, Mohammad Hanawi, Hassan Aboud, Ahmed Abbas Aboud, Ahmed Mahmoud Aboud, and Abbas Aboud.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health stated that two rescuers were killed and two others injured during Israeli nighttime attacks in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese government and human rights groups have accused Israel of deliberately targeting medical personnel in Lebanon, noting that Israeli attacks have killed more than 200 health workers since the war in southern Lebanon began on Oct. 8, 2023.
